Mindful Movement Project
New England

Mindful Movement Project New England is brought to you by seasoned educator and behavior analyst Sarah Mulcahy Frechette. Sarah has twenty years of experience teaching children with executive functioning challenges, and has lived experience as someone with late-diagnosed ADHD. Her experience growing up as a student and athlete were impacted by untreated ADHD, and inspired the Mindful Movement Project.

Our goal is to help your child move with purpose: to move the body and mind to learn to respond to stress, distractions and problems with confidence and self control.

About

We believe you

We know you know something needs to change for your family. We're here to help you pinpoint what it is and create an individualised plan to help.

We've been where you are

We're on the neurodivergence rollercoaster along with you. We've felt the disorganization, emotional overwhelm, social challenges, sensory discomfort and visual/spatial problems that go along with ADHD. The lived experience that inspired the start of Mindful Movement Project and gives us first-hand knowledge of how neurodivergence can impact your child and family.

We honor your time

We believe too much time is wasted trying to find a provider who's a good fit. We know the feeling! That's why at MMPNE we audition our services for you during a free, introductory mini session in the program of your choosing. See us in action, check out our style, and figure out with your child if we're the right match for your child before signing up for services.

What Sets Us Apart

How We Do It

Executive Functions Training

At MMP New England, we provide interest and needs-based teaching that strengthens the following skills: emotional control, flexible thinking, impulse control, organization, task initiation, planning and prioritizing, self monitoring, and working memory. We tailor our signature offerings to your child's needs, and can also design a mix of our offerings to meet more diverse interests.

Youth Sports Prep Programs

MMP New England was born through the observation that 1) youth sports require strong executive functioning, 2) athletes with EF challenges may be pulled out of sports when they have behavior challenges on the field/court 3) Learning EF skills takes time. These athletes may not have as many opportunities to play competitive sports alongside their peers. Once these athletes have strengthened EF skills and are ready to return to the field/court, they may not be able to keep up. Here at MMPNE, we provide trainings for athletic coaches to meet athletes with EF challenges where they are at, and keep them on teams from a young age. We also offer sports intensives: 6 week sessions before the start of a sports season for athletes to brush up on competitive skills in their sport of choice, while learning EF skills for that specific sport.

Community Wellness Initiatives

MMP New England we recognize the high incidence rate of ADHD occurring alongside depression: more than 50% of people with ADHD have depression, and 30%-40% of people with depression also have ADHD (Dodson, William Aug. 2025). We honor this with the sharing of information at community events, engaging the community in practicing real-life strategies for thriving in life with ADHD, and more!
